Yes, that's owner and wine maker Craig Watts, standing next to the new wine press. The French-made press squeezes juice from the grapes without crushing the seeds. At top center, Craig looks over some of the just-harvested grapes before they're pressed.
But with the weather being so cold lately, pressing has been put on hold.
Cellar worker Sean Holloway begins the process of removing juice from the grapes. The juice is then stored in stainless steel tanks for about a week before they're placed in barrels for aging.
